Additional crews assist with power restoration efforts

Additional crews arrived this morning to support ongoing power restoration efforts, according to a utility company spokesperson.

The crews are already working in the field, and updates on specific areas will be provided in a video later today, the company said.

Customers are reminded to re-report outages if they receive a restoration text but their power remains off. Reports can be made by calling 662-234-6331, or through text, the utility’s app, or its website at www.nemepa.org.

The company thanked customers for their patience and understanding as crews continue working to restore power.
