Additional crews assist with power restoration efforts

Additional crews arrived this morning and are already working in the field to assist with power restoration efforts, according to officials.

Progress is being made, and updates on specific areas are expected in a video later tonight, the utility said.

Customers are reminded to re-report outages if they receive a restoration text but still have no power. Reports can be made by calling 662-234-6331, or via text, the utility’s app, or its website at www.nemepa.org.

The utility thanked customers for their continued patience and understanding during the recovery process.
