City and University debris removal to close northbound lane on Gertrude Ford Avenue

Debris contractors working for the city and university will clear the area along Gertrude Ford Avenue between Alumni Drive and West Jackson Avenue on March 11.

The project will involve large equipment that requires the northbound lane to be closed during the work. Traffic will be detoured through the Gertrude Ford Center parking lot to Depot Street for access to West Jackson Avenue, according to officials.
