Community Comes Together to Support Oxford During Challenging Times

Nearly a month after a stressful event, the Oxford community remains engaged and supportive. On January 27, volunteers helped feed those at the city’s warming center during a difficult period, according to local sources.

Today, all city employees were treated to a barbecue lunch as a gesture of appreciation. Despite the intense circumstances during the initial event, the crowd’s smiles reflected resilience and community spirit, sources said.

Organizers credited volunteers, staff members, and community members for their ongoing support. Special thanks were given to The Cotton Group and The Citizens Bank for their contributions, along with everyone who continues to step up for Oxford.
