Lafayette County Ends Food and Water Distribution Sites

The Mississippi National Guard has finished managing food and water distribution sites in Lafayette County, according to a recent announcement. The Guard has left the area, and the county will no longer operate these sites.

Residents in urgent need of food or water, especially those without water or power at home, are advised to contact the county via email at emapio@lafayettecoms.com. The county will provide MREs and bottled water to those in need.
