Lafayette County recognizes January Students of the Month

Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Michael Bevill recognized the Students of the Month at Lafayette Upper Elementary for January. The students were selected by their teachers for demonstrating character, leadership, and setting a positive example for classmates.

Jayden from Mrs. Ramsey’s third-grade class, Remington from Mrs. Rainey’s fourth-grade class, and Fletcher from Mrs. Stern’s fifth-grade class received the awards. The sheriff’s office praised each student for embodying values such as respect, responsibility, and kindness.

Officials expressed pride in the students’ achievements and encouraged them to continue their good work.
