Lafayette County Sheriff Recognizes February Students of the Month

Sheriff Joey East awarded the Sheriff’s Students of the Month for February at Lafayette Upper Elementary School. The students were chosen by their teachers for demonstrating strong character, leadership, and setting a positive example for classmates.

The students are Henley Grace from Mrs. Armistead’s third-grade class, Rowan from Mrs. Hinshaw’s fourth-grade class, and Cruze from Mrs. Chretman’s fifth-grade class.

The sheriff’s office commended each student for exemplifying respect, responsibility, and kindness. Officials expressed pride in their achievements and encouraged them to continue their good work.
