Lafayette County to distribute MREs and water on Feb. 6

Lafayette County will distribute meals ready-to-eat and water on Feb. 6 starting at noon. Distribution sites include Lafayette County Fire Station 3 at 22 County Road 369 and Fire Station 12 at 1301 Highway 30, according to county officials.

The city of Oxford will also host a distribution at Woodland Park. Officials urge residents to be patient and courteous to volunteers and staff working at the sites. They also emphasized that supplies are limited and will be distributed until they run out.

County officials said they will provide updates as more information becomes available.
