Mississippi awards new Terminal Agency Coordinators to enhance public safety
Twenty-four individuals have completed the latest Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) training in Mississippi, according to officials. TACs are responsible for maintaining compliance, security, and access to CJIS and NCIC systems, supporting law enforcement and emergency services across the state.
The recent class included representatives from the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Newton County E911, Neshoba County E911, Starkville Police Department, and Mound Bayou Police Department, among others.
Officials thanked the new coordinators for their dedication to improving public safety in Mississippi. The training aims to ensure proper system access and security protocols are followed across agencies.
Law enforcement agencies and emergency responders rely on TACs to uphold system integrity and support efficient communication during critical incidents.
