Mississippi extends property tax deadline to March 2026
Governor Tate Reeves has signed a proclamation extending the deadline for paying real estate and personal property taxes in Mississippi. The new deadline is March 3, 2026, according to the governor’s office.
Penalties and interest will begin to accrue on unpaid taxes after the new deadline. Taxpayers are encouraged to pay before March 3 to avoid additional charges.
In Oxford, residents can pay their real estate and personal property taxes online at www.oxfordms.net, by mail, or in person at Oxford City Hall, the city announced.
