Ole Miss Alpha Phi Hosts Victim’s Services Coordinator to Discuss Relationship Violence
Alpha Phi sorority at the University of Mississippi hosted Valerie Boothe, the Victim’s Services Coordinator for Oxford Police, to speak about identifying the signs of dating and domestic violence. The event aimed to foster awareness and promote relationship safety among students.
Boothe emphasized the importance of recognizing early warning signs of interpersonal violence and encouraged students to seek help if needed. The police department expressed appreciation for the opportunity to connect with the student organization and engage in meaningful conversations on this critical issue.
Oxford Police invited other organizations interested in hosting a speaker from its Victims’ Services Team to contact Boothe at vboothe@oxfordpolice.net, highlighting their commitment to community education and support.
