OPD offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The Oregon Police Department will close its administrative offices on Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, according to a department news release.
The department said it honors Dr. King’s legacy of service, equality, and justice. Emergency services will remain available, and residents are advised to call 911 if needed.
The closure aligns with federal and state holiday observances, allowing staff to participate in community commemorations and reflect on Dr. King’s contributions.
