Oxford Police Department congratulates recent academy graduates

The Oxford Police Department has celebrated the graduation of four new officers from the Mississippi Delta Community College Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Blake Cain, Nick Davis, Charles Hefner, and Keaton Varnon completed their training with distinction. According to the department, all four scored 93% or higher on their exams and successfully finished the Road Warrior Challenge.

Cain was recognized as Top Cop, Platoon Leader 2, and placed second in fitness. Davis earned Top Academic honors, while Hefner took second place in shooting. All four officers demonstrated excellence throughout their training, the department said.

The department expressed pride in their hard work and dedication. Officials said the officers are now returning to serve the Oxford community. The department encouraged residents to join in congratulating the new graduates.
