Oxford police host women’s self-defense class for city employees and families

Oxford police officers taught a women’s self-defense class Tuesday for City of Oxford employees and their families. The session aimed to equip participants with valuable safety skills, according to department officials.

Officials expressed gratitude to everyone who attended and participated in the training. The department announced a public self-defense class will be held on April 21 at 6 p.m. at the Oxford Police Department.

The department encourages community members to take advantage of upcoming training opportunities to enhance personal safety skills.
