Oxford police to host retirement celebration for Lt. Mark Hodges

Oxford police announced a retirement celebration for Lieutenant Mark Hodges, who was recognized Tuesday night before the Board of Aldermen for his dedicated service to the community.

The department is hosting the event on Friday, Feb. 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the police department. The public is encouraged to attend, offer congratulations, and share memories with Hodges as he begins his next chapter.

Organizers expressed hope that community members will join in celebrating Hodges’ career and contributions to Oxford.
