Oxford School District to remain closed all week due to weather

The Oxford School District will be closed all week from Jan. 26 to Jan. 30 because of inclement weather and widespread power outages, district officials announced.

Residents are advised to stay sheltered and call 911 in emergency situations. Authorities also urged caution for those leaving town.

The district will provide updates on warming sites in coordination with the city soon, officials said.
