Lafayette County Emergency Management announced that Samaritan’s Purse is providing free disaster relief assistance to homeowners impacted by recent events. The organization offers services such as chainsaw work, debris cleanup, temporary roof tarping, and moving personal property to the curb.

Residents can request help by calling 833-747-1234 and selecting Ext. 4 to speak with a Samaritan’s Purse representative. The services are free, and requests are handled based on volunteer availability, according to officials.

The assistance is available at Christ Presbyterian Church, located at 901 Sisk Avenue in Oxford. Volunteers interested in helping can visit spvolunteer.org or call 662-607-4824.
