Tornado Watch for Lafayette County Canceled; Freeze Warning Issued

The tornado watch for Lafayette County scheduled for Sunday has been canceled, according to local weather authorities.

Instead, a freeze warning is in effect starting at 4 a.m. on March 16 and lasting until noon the same day, the National Weather Service said.

Following the warning, a freeze watch is in effect from 8 p.m. on March 16 through noon on March 17.

Residents are advised to take precautions against the cold temperatures and stay updated on local weather alerts.
