Trees Block Multiple Roads in Local Area, MDOT Reports

Trees are blocking several roads in the area, causing closures and delays, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).

MDOT reports that Highway 6 East and County Road 277 are obstructed by fallen trees. Additionally, Highway 334 has a downed tree blocking the road, with authorities on the scene and crews en route.

County Road 517 is also affected, with multiple trees down, and a tree down on Highway 800 near Highway 334 is being addressed by responders. MDOT further reports a tree down on County Road 337, with road crews headed to the scene.

Officials advise drivers to stay alert and seek alternative routes as crews work to clear the affected roads.
