Volunteer spots filled, but donation opportunities available for storm relief

Oxford Middle School is accepting donations to support first responders and linemen affected by recent winter storms, even though all volunteer opportunities are currently filled, according to organizers.

Community members are encouraged to drop off listed items at the school during lunch service, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. any day. The items will be collected and distributed during dinner service to those working on storm recovery efforts.

Organizers emphasized that donations are vital to aid first responders and linemen as they work through the winter storm’s aftermath. The initiative is part of broader community support efforts under the hashtags #WeAreOxford, #ChargerNation, and #WinterStormFern.
