Walmart donates supplies to Oxford community, hosts pickup event

Walmart is donating canned goods and household supplies to the Oxford community. A drive-thru pickup event will be held at the old Hayakawa Warehouse, located at 10 Industrial Park Drive, on Feb. 1.

The event begins at a specified time and will continue while supplies last, according to organizers. Available items include bottled water, cereal, crackers, canned vegetables and soups, toilet paper, paper towels, and bleach.

Vehicles will be directed through the parking lot, and volunteers will load supplies into each car. All vehicles will receive the same items, subject to availability, organizers said.
