Walmart donates supplies to Oxford community, hosts pickup event

Walmart has donated canned goods and household supplies to the Oxford community. A drive-through pickup event will be held at the old Hayakawa Warehouse, located at 10 Industrial Park Drive, on Feb. 1, or while supplies last, according to organizers.

Available items include bottled water, cereal, crackers, canned vegetables and soups, toilet paper, paper towels, and bleach. Vehicles will be directed through the parking lot, where volunteers will load supplies into each car. All vehicles will receive the same items, depending on availability.

The event aims to support residents in need by providing essential goods in a safe, contactless manner, organizers said.
