Week 2 Underway for Mississippi Law Enforcement Cadet Class

Week two of training has begun for Cadet Class 70 at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers’ Training Academy, according to sources familiar with the program.

The class, which started with a larger group, now has 68 cadets remaining. Cadets are participating in long days of intense training and instruction, demonstrating their commitment to law enforcement careers, said the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Sean Tindell, a spokesperson for the Mississippi Highway Patrol, emphasized the rigorous nature of the training and the dedication of the cadets as they advance through their program.

The training aims to prepare cadets for their roles in law enforcement across Mississippi, with a focus on skill development, discipline, and community service.
