Oxford students excel at Lafayette County Spelling Bee

Six students from Oxford School District participated in the Lafayette County Spelling Bee on Jan. 15, representing Central Elementary School, Oxford Intermediate School and Oxford Middle School.

Participants displayed strong knowledge and perseverance during the competition, with three students finishing in the top three positions.

Aahana Chittiboyina took first place, Vi Nguyen finished second, and Abe Jobin placed third, according to district officials.
