Lafayette County deputies arrest Calhoun man in commercial burglary investigation

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office arrested a 31-year-old Calhoun man after investigating stolen property reported by a local business, the Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.

Deputies received the report on Oct. 19, 2026, and identified Jonah Glasz as the suspect. Several items reported stolen from the business were later recovered, according to the Sheriff's Office.

An arrest warrant charging Glasz with burglary of a commercial building was obtained Oct. 20. Deputies located him in Oxford on Oct. 21 and took him into custody.

Glasz appeared before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge on Oct. 22 and was issued a $10,000 bond, the Sheriff's Office said. He was being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center on a Drug Court hold for an alleged probation violation.

The allegations have not been proven in court. Individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
