Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office hiring full-time correctional officers

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Facebook post that it is hiring full-time correctional officers.

The post lists starting pay at $48,088 annually, or $21.94 per hour. Listed benefits include MS PERS retirement, employee health insurance, life insurance, personal days, medical days and access to an on-site gym.

Certifications are preferred but not required, according to the post. New hires can earn certifications after being hired.
