Mississippi DPS offices closed Sept. 7 for Labor Day

Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices were scheduled to close Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day, according to a department announcement posted on Facebook.

The offices were scheduled to reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.

The department also thanked law enforcement officers across Mississippi who were continuing to work to enforce traffic laws and keep the state’s roads safe during the holiday.
