Avent Street Closed in Oxford for Water Leak Repair

Crews have closed Avent Street between Chandler and Douglas streets in Oxford to repair a water leak, according to city officials.

Photos taken at the intersection of Avent Street and Sisk Avenue show the ongoing work. The area is expected to remain closed for approximately two to three hours.

Motorists are advised to use caution and seek alternate routes during the closure, officials said.
