Communities Offer Supplies at Multiple Distribution Sites

Residents in Lafayette County and Oxford can pick up supplies at several designated distribution sites, according to local officials. The sites are offering MREs and bottled water, with each person eligible for up to three days’ worth of supplies.

The distribution in Lafayette County is taking place at multiple locations, including the Harmontown sheriff’s office substation, Lafayette High School, and several fire stations. In Oxford, supplies are available at CB Webb, Wayne Johnson Thacker at Garden Terrace, and other sites.

Officials ask residents to be patient and courteous, noting that the sites are staffed by members of the Mississippi National Guard. Distribution will continue until supplies run out, and residents are advised to visit early for the best chance to receive aid.
