Department honors dispatcher Tessa Salter for dedication and professionalism

Members of the Communications Center celebrated Tessa Salter this week for her dedication and positive attitude. She serves as the department’s lead TAC dispatcher.

Chief Jeff McCutchen praised Salter, saying her professionalism, calmness, and upbeat spirit stand out. “Tessa is one of the most enjoyable people you can work with. Her smile is contagious, and her upbeat spirit brings a lot of joy to our Communications Center,” he said.

McCutchen added that the community benefits from Salter’s work, noting, “Our community is in good hands when Tessa is on the radio.” The department expressed gratitude for her professionalism, positivity, and care, noting her daily contributions to the department and community.

Salter’s dedication was highlighted as an example for others in the department, according to officials.
