Double Decker Arts Festival hosts annual pet costume contest
The Best Dressed Pet Contest is back as part of the Double Decker Arts Festival. The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 10:30 a.m. on the south side of the Courthouse lawn, according to organizers.
Participants are encouraged to dress up their pets and compete for prizes in first, second, and third place. The contest aims to promote community engagement and celebrate pet adoption, with organizers urging residents to share the event and invite others to join.
Prizes will be awarded for the top costumes, and the event is open to the public. Organizers also highlight the importance of the #adoptdontshop message and encourage attendees to support local shelters.
The festival invites community members to enjoy the event and see creative pet costumes. More details can be found on their social media channels, including the hashtags #OARC and #doubledeckerarts.
