Free Ladies Handgun Course Set for April 18 in Lafayette County

A free Ladies Handgun Familiarization Course will be offered on April 18 at the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, according to the Lafayette County Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy.

The course aims to help women build confidence and skills in handling handguns in a supportive environment. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees.

Participants can register by picking up an application at the sheriff’s office or emailing lcdc@lafayettesheriff.net. The session begins at 7:30 a.m. and is open to women interested in learning firearm safety from experienced instructors.
