K9 Rip Visits Lafayette Upper Elementary School

Deputy Josh Davis and K9 Rip visited Lafayette Upper Elementary School on Wednesday, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

The K9 unit spent time interacting with students, sharing learning experiences, and building relationships. The visit aimed to show students that even officers and their dogs are always eager to learn new things, the sheriff’s office said.

School staff and students welcomed Rip, with many smiles, tail wags, and extra attention for the K9. The sheriff’s office expressed gratitude to Lafayette Upper Elementary for allowing Rip to be part of their day.
