Lafayette County honors retiring sheriff’s officials

The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors honored Major Alan Wilburn and Captain Jarrett Bundren on their retirement Thursday night. The proclamations were read by Board President Brent Larson and presented by Sheriff Joey East.

The ceremony took place in front of family, friends, and colleagues. Sheriff East praised the retirees for their service.

“Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful,” Sheriff East quoted Matthew 25:23 during the presentation.
