MDOT announces approximately one-month closure of Windsor Falls Drive entrance

The Mississippi Department of Transportation announced plans to close the entrance to Windsor Falls Drive at Highway 7, according to a City of Oxford Facebook post relaying information from MDOT.

The closure was announced to begin the following morning and last approximately one month. During that time, crews were expected to completely reconstruct the entrance as part of the ongoing Highway 7 widening project.

The City of Oxford advised motorists to plan their commutes, allow extra travel time and use alternate routes to access the neighborhood during the closure.
