Mississippi agencies complete Terminal Agency Coordinator training at Criminal Information Center

Several law enforcement agencies in Mississippi completed a Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) training session this week at the Criminal Information Center.

The agencies involved include the Flowood Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Hollandale Police Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Campus Police, University of Mississippi Campus Police, Pearl River County E911, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Gluckstadt Police Department, Desoto County Sheriff’s Office, Horn Lake Police Department, and Jackson Airport Authority.

Officials say the training aims to strengthen coordination, improve communication, and enhance collaboration among agencies across the state. Such efforts are designed to better protect public safety and ensure effective responses in emergencies.

The sessions highlight ongoing efforts to improve interagency cooperation within Mississippi law enforcement and public safety agencies, according to organizers.
