Mississippi Department of Public Safety Announces Jackson Station Reopening

The Jackson Department of Public Safety station is now open as of 10:04 a.m. on March 16, according to agency officials. They asked for patience as their systems come back online.

Individuals are encouraged to schedule appointments at dps.ms.gov. The Vicksburg DPS station remains closed, the department said.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety employs more than 1,000 sworn and non-sworn personnel. These employees patrol roads, combat drug crimes, and provide various safety services across the state, officials added.
