Mississippi DPS offices to close Monday for Confederate Memorial Day

Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices, including all Driver Service Bureaus, will be closed Monday in observance of Confederate Memorial Day, according to a news release from the department.

The offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, April 28. The department thanked law enforcement and first responders who will continue working to keep roadways safe during the holiday.

The closure applies across the state, and residents are advised to plan accordingly for any services needed from the DPS during the holiday weekend.
