OPD officers earn degrees amid graduation celebrations

Two officers from the OPD are being recognized for their academic accomplishments during graduation week.

Officer Mackenzie Rogers is graduating with a Master’s of Criminal Justice, while Officer Jason Brill is earning a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law Enforcement Leadership, according to department officials.

Both officers completed their degrees while working full-time at the police department. Department representatives praised their dedication and commitment to professional growth and community service.

“We are incredibly proud of both of you for your hard work and perseverance,” an OPD spokesperson said. “Your achievements will benefit both your careers and our community.”
