Oxford Animal Shelter Offers $25 Adoption Fees During Nationwide Event

The Oxford Animal Resource Center is participating in the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters campaign, offering $25 adoptions for all dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through July 26.

The shelter faces capacity challenges during the summer months, according to a news release from the organization. The initiative aims to help animals find homes faster and reduce overcrowding.

All adopted pets are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped before going home. The event runs now through July 26 at the shelter located at 413 McElroy Drive in Oxford, Mississippi.

Interested adopters are encouraged to visit www.oxfordarc.org to view available animals and submit adoption applications. The shelter urges the community to meet their new furry friend and help “Empty the Shelters.”
