Oxford businesses support local schools during Teacher Appreciation Week

The City of Oxford is home to many businesses that actively support local schools, according to officials. During Teacher Appreciation Week, The Magnolia partnered with the community to honor educators.

Representatives visited Della Davidson Elementary School, where they delivered a basket of goodies as a gesture of appreciation, said a spokesperson. The visit was coordinated by Mr. Michael, the school’s resident ambassador.

School staff and students welcomed the visitors, with some children participating in visits and performances, the spokesperson added. The community expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from local businesses during the week dedicated to teachers.
