Oxford launches new portal for city agendas and minutes
The City of Oxford has transitioned to CivicPlus, a new online portal for city agendas and meeting minutes. The upgrade aims to enhance navigation and document viewing for residents seeking information on city business.
City Clerk Leslie McCormick said the change reflects the city’s commitment to accessible government. “Transitioning to CivicPlus is a direct reflection of our commitment to accessible government,” she said. “We want every resident to feel connected to the decisions being made, and this platform makes it easier for our citizens to know exactly what is going on in a fully transparent and user-friendly manner.”
Residents can access the new system through a link on the main City of Oxford website or on the front page of OXMS.NET. Officials encourage community members to explore the platform and share feedback to improve transparency and engagement.
The city emphasized that the portal is part of its efforts to provide simple, direct access to discussions shaping the community.
