Oxford police and fire departments hold diaper drive to support families

The Oxford Police Department and Oxford Fire Department are partnering for the Oxford First Responder Diaper Drive on August 14 to support families in the community. The event will take place at Kroger from 9 a.m. to noon, where residents are encouraged to donate diapers to assist local families through the North Mississippi Exchange Family Center.

Organizers say every donation helps provide essential supplies to families in need. Those unable to attend the drive can use a QR code to make a direct donation to the Exchange Center, according to event organizers.

The drive aims to offer extra support to families during challenging times, officials said. Participants are encouraged to stop by Kroger and contribute to the community effort.
