Oxford police officer to retire after 26 years of service

Oxford police are hosting a retirement celebration for Officer Johnny Sneed, who has served more than 26 years in law enforcement and the community.

The event is scheduled for Friday, July 10, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Oxford Police Department, according to department officials.

Community members and colleagues are encouraged to stop by to wish Sneed well as he prepares to retire, police said.
