Oxford police to host safety event at the Square on Monday night

The Oxford Police Department will host a community safety event at the Oxford Square on Monday evening. The OPD Safe Site Tent will be open from 8 to 10 p.m., providing free safety supplies, a NightCap drink, and glow sticks, according to a news release.

Representatives from the William Magee Center and Family Crisis Services will also be present, offering resources and information for community members. The event aims to promote safety and community engagement before a night out on the Square.
