Oxford school district delays start to school year, deadline to move to virtual is this week

The Oxford School District called a special board meeting on Wednesday to discuss the school year start.
The Board of Trustees voted 3-2 in favor of delaying the start of school two weeks to Aug. 24.
A final deadline for parents to choose virtual or face-to-face instruction is Aug. 7 4:30 p.m.
The meeting was held via Zoom.
The district was originally set to start this Friday, August 7th.
