Oxford School District names Jason Kennedy as new girls basketball coach
Oxford School District announced the hiring of Jason Kennedy as its new head girls basketball coach. Kennedy has a proven track record of success, including multiple championship appearances and Coach of the Year honors, according to district officials.
During his coaching career, Kennedy has helped 35 student-athletes advance to the college level. His most recent position was at St. Martin High School, where he led the team to the District 4-7A Championship and a Final Four appearance. He also received District Coach of the Year honors.
Kennedy previously guided Pearl High School to a Class 6A State Championship and earned numerous statewide and national coaching accolades. The district welcomed Kennedy and his family to the community, expressing enthusiasm for his leadership.
