Oxford School District trustees conduct first school walkthrough of the year

Oxford School District trustees kicked off their first school walkthrough of the year at Oxford High School on Monday morning, according to district officials.

During the visit, board members toured several classrooms and tested out the district’s new golf simulators, district spokesperson Jane Smith said.

School walkthroughs allow trustees to observe students and teachers in action and stay connected to daily learning activities across the district, Smith added.

District officials said the board plans to visit more schools throughout the year and encourages community members to follow their progress.
