Police seek help in theft of leaf blower in Tupelo

Tupelo police and Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi are seeking assistance in locating a suspect in a larceny case. On March 24, a victim reported that an item was stolen from his vehicle on West Main Street, according to authorities.

The victim said a white and orange leaf blower was taken from his vehicle, which was believed to have been left in a white GMC SUV with a handicap sticker. Surveillance footage from a nearby business shows a potential suspect—described as a white male wearing a blue T-shirt and a white hat.

Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or use the P3 Tip App. Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $2,000 for tips that lead to an arrest. Officials emphasize that tipsters can remain anonymous and do not need to disclose their names.
