Police seek suspect in gas station larceny in Tupelo

Police in Tupelo are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a grand larceny at a local gas station. The incident was reported on July 12, 2026, when a wallet was stolen from the business on South Green Street, according to the Tupelo Police Department.

Surveillance footage from the scene shows the possible suspect as a black male wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a black toboggan. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or use the P3 Tip App to submit a tip anonymously.

Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest. Officials emphasize that tipsters’ identities are not required, only their information.
